I agree that it would be helpful to have knowledge on the Greek stories that were used as inspiration for the play, but I think that some readers would still be able to follow and get into the story, even if they don't have that knowledge. I really loved reading "Polaroid Stories" because of the rhythm in the language, and, if LSU ever puts this on, I would love to be in it. I was also wondering about how some of the actions would be staged (ex. Skinheadgirl turning into a star,... (Just incase my previous post wasn't read lol)I read the play, and even though it's kind of yadiyadiyada, I didn't think it was that bad. I understood most of it and most of the references but I don't know, the way it was writen kind of threw me off.
